SCS Dinner and Dance
My company's Dinner and Dance was held on Monday at Swissotel The Stamford Ballroom. Have you ever heard of a Dinner and Dance being held on a monday?? Well, heard that our company top mangement could not make it on a friday so have to make it on a monday loh. At least we were allowed to leave work at 3pm on monday and come back to work on Tuesday at 10am....
There were 120 tables at the ballroom so it was quite big and as a result the quality of food was also comprised...Anyway, its free mah so " Mai Hiam Bua Pai!" . The MC was someone I have never seen before, his name is Justin. He was very good and made us laugh all the way..... He has been in this line for 8 years liao....My neck was a bit strained after the event because I had to turn my head to look at the stage for the whole 4 hours as my seat was not facing the stage. i

The lucky draw prizes are quite good consisting of Osim massage chair,32" LCD TVs, 42" Plasma Tvs, Xbox 360, handphones, Pdas, etc. For the top 10 prizes, they picked 10 people to go up on stage. I was a bit stunned when I saw my number and name on the projector screen! The top ten winners on the stage were all men! We were then told to go into an inflated house filled with flying balloons one by one and pick a balloon. Each balloon contains a slip of paper telling us what we have won.
I burst my ballon and found out that I won a 32" Samsung LCD TV! I only found out that it was the 2nd prize later on.....The first prize was the Osim massage chair. Heard that pregnant ladies give luck. Guess that my baby gave me luck because I kissed Nancy's stomach before going for the dinner and dance....haha...:)
This is the 32" Samsung LCD TV that I won. The model number is LA32M51B.Its the first time in my life that I have won such a big prize....hope its not the last!....:)
