It has been a week that I have not been blogging.....hmmm.....for the sake of my loyal supporters I should blog today....hee....acutally ah....I think my loyal supporters mainly consist of my parents and my gf, Nancy.......so if there are any other loyal supporters out there, leave a message on my chatterbox on the right okie??? hee........well....now is the second week of the holidays already and I am still working on my final year project and thesis.....I have written about 45 pages of my thesis....but there is a limit of 35 pages for my thesis.....I have asked my supervisior regarding the limit and he says that it should be alright if it does not exceed 40 pages....so I guess I have to go and trim my thesis and take out some rubbish...hee.......anyway, last saturday my friends and I went to a chinese restarant called "double happiness" for dinner to celebrate Larry and Adrian Wong's birthday...what an appropriate restarant name huh....hee......there were 10 of us so just nice have one table.....after dinner we went home and Adrian wong wanted to cook red bean and asked if we want to eat.....we all said okie except for qingqian who dun like red bean.......After 4 hours, we finally got to eat our red bean soup and halfway we actually grumbled about having to wait for so long...ha ha......I normally cook that for about 1 to 2 hours, but you should not argue with the cook rite?? hee......The red bean soup was a bit thick but I guess I like it that way also.......hee.....

Well.....I am doing the testing and results part of my disssertation......have to think of what to do with my results of my program and how to write that up!!!!! Well, anyway, I had lunch today with my first year flatmates at Lau's Buffet King.....wanted to go to another place called Koi Garden but then it was closed so then we decided to go to Lau's Buffet. The buffet was not that nice ah....the food is mostly oily and salty...but that's the way the food is in buffets here loh.....I think the best buffet here can't even compare to the worst one in sinapore!!!

Today is offically the first day of the easter holidays!!!!! and I am all alone at home!!!!cos my flatmates and my friends upstairs have gone a short trip to scotland!! so I will have the whole flat to myself for the next 3 days!!good leh...then I can blast my mp3s and sing loud loud without being afraid of disturbing anyone.....ha ha...anyway.....for this easter holidays.....I would have to finish up my project and hand in my thesis and have project demonstration after the holidays....so my ideal schedule would be to finish off my project in the first two weeks and then study stuff for the exams in the next two weeks.....hmm....hope I can keep with that schedule.....hai...sian lah....have to work on my project everyday......sometimes do until "see beh sian" liao......but then what to do....still have to do what.....hee.......okie lah....enough of me complaining liao.........

well....its going to be the end of another week soon.........baiscally it has been a normal routine week for me....what's in a routine week u ask?well.....I only have lectures on monday, tuesday and thursday so I would go for my lecutures during those days and will be playing football with my classmates after the lectures. I play about 3 times a week in the sports hall....its an indoor 5-a-side court because we would be freezing if we were to play outside....hee...Guess I will not have this kind of chance when I get back to singapore and start working........Friday is grocery day where my flatmates and I will go to the market and supermarket to shop for meat, vegetables and stuff for one week.......Friday is also the singapore society's sports day and the society will book a court in the sports hall every friday and will have various sports like basketball, soccer, badminton, etc nearly every week...The rest of the time would be spending doing my final year project which accounts for 40 credits which is equivalent to 4 subjects which is quite a substantial amount........As for weekends, basically it feels the same as weekdays....not much difference...just stay at home and rot...ha ha.....hmm..but this saturday will be going for a day trip to York organised by the singapore society.....hmm...I have been there before liao but then might as well just take a break and go cos always stay in Newcastle also sian...just go somewhere different.......

hmmmm.....its two weeks before my easter holidays......hmm......now everyone is looking forward to end of may because that's the time where our final exams will be about to be over and then end of all our miserable studying....hee.......well, after studying for nearly three years, I think I have enough of studying for the moment...ha ha....Looking forward to my graduation.....:)...Anyway yesterday we had roti prata for dinner!!!!I bought it like quite some time ago and put it in the freezer.....It is actually made in singapore and the brand is spring home.....I had to make my own curry and also have to fry the roti prata in a pan....the taste was quite authentic and can be compared to the standard of those coffeshop selling roti prata.....hmm... issit I too long never eat it already so that is why it is exceptionally tasty to me?? ha ha.....anyway it reminds me of all the food in singapore that I miss.....like hokkien mee, carrot cake, or jian, satay bee hoon, etc....and the list goes on...When you are overseas, it makes you appreicitate singapore food much more........well, guess I have to wait 4 more months before I get to eat all my favourite food......hmmm.....makes me wonder how come the angmos don't get sick of eating burgers,fries, fish and chip and all these stuff.......

Yesterday was the poster presentation.....glad that its over.....It went quite well...It is basically like an exhibition where the students put up their poster about their final year project during an allocated time. The lecturers then walk around and will ask you stuff about ur project if they are interested. But the main important lecturer is the one that is assessing the poster presentation....I will present the poster to my second examiner and then he will ask me questions about my project...But as I was presenting halfway , he has already started asking me questions!!!!!!!I guess he already has background knowledge of my project already and doesn't want to be bored to death....hee.....well, anyway I was able to answer his questions and it was done within ten minutes!!!hee.....lucky for me cos some of my friend's lecturers asked a lot of questions......

and...our first semester results were also released yesterday!!!!Finally!!!!I did quite well for my exam but there was a few surprises....I did not score as well for one subject as I expected but I also did better for one subject that I did not expect to do well.....so I guess that even things out....hee......I got an average of 70 plus.......well, I can say I am quite satisfied....

well......we were suppossed to get our results back today but then they sent an email telling us that the results will be out on thursday!!!!hmmm.....how long do they actually need to give us back our results???!!!!!

hmm...now I am in the mood for updating my blog again.....I guess there was a period of time where I lost interest in updating....well.....maybe it is because life here is so boring that I didn't know what to blog about?..or issit the usual "san fen zhong re du" thingy??hee.....but then for the sake for my few loyal supporters......ha ha.... I should start updating this regularly....I hope.....ha ha.......hmm.....my exam results will be out on tuesday....it was supposed to be out on monday but then the school sent an email and informed that it is now changed to tuesday. This year was the longest ever our department took to release the results!!!Normally it just takes about 3 weeks to get our results but this time it took double the time which is 6 weeks!! Most of my friends in the other departments got their results already except for us.....well, I guess I did well for a few subjects but may do not so well for one of them.....anyhow, I am not afraid of getting the results for I know that I have done my very best liao............
