I had another interview in the morning today......and guess where it was??? It's at Singapore Technologies Electronics again but this time it is another subsidiary company and the post that I am interviewing for is Software Engineer (Graphics). I arrived there at 9.45am and as usual I had to go to the guardhouse and surrender my IC, call up the person and wait in the guardhouse for the person to escort me to the office for the interview. The person came and then escorted me to a meeting room and then to my surprise, handed me a C++ programming test to do!!!She then left me in the room and then said she will come back in an hour!!!! Hmm......It has been 1 and a half years since my last C++ lecture/lab so I was a bit rusty liao!!! And the test was even harder than my exams man!!! After the test, I filled up the application form and then two people came to interview me and one was an ang mo....they asked me some difficult questions which I didn’t really know how to answer so I just hamtum lah......well.....I think dun have much chance for this interview lah.....so hope for the best anyway lah........
After the interview, I had to travel all the way to the other end of the island which is jurong point for my lunch and then go back to work on my temp job........When I was at the boon lay interchange and about to go take the bus 257, I saw someone familiar and it turned out to be my poly classmate Cindy!!!!!! She was also going to take the same bus and me and to my surprise she is also going to the same company as me which is Carrier!!!! She was going there for an interview for the post of QA Engineer. I was surprised that she is looking to change jobs cos I think she just changed job not too long ago!!! She went for the interview and was offered the job but she still has to consider because the main factor affecting her decision is the distance as she lives in hougang!!!
