The Birth of our Piglet Clover Chee

Our Piglet Clover Chee was born at Mount Alvernia Hospital on 24th February 2007 at 12.38pm. She weights a hefty 3.59kg!

Clover was supposed to be due on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. But then she still does not want to come out on that day. Therefore, our gynae arranged nancy for a induced labour on saturday because the baby cannot be in the womb for more than 41 weeks.

We went to the hospital on saturday at 1am and we were directed to go to the delivery suite. The nurse then inserted some tablets into nancy to enable the cervix to open wider. I also spent the night at the cold delivery suite sleeping uncomfortably on the chair. The gynae came at 7.30am in the morning to burst the water bag.

At about ard 11am , the nurses detected something strange about the baby's heartbeat. Everytime that Nancy had contractions, the baby's heartbeat would go down.....This is not normal! They then contacted our gynae and he rushed down to the hospital. He suspected that some part of the umbilical cord might be wrapped around some part of the baby's body, causing the heartbeat to drop during Nancy's contractions.

The gynae then decided to do a emergency cesarean section to get the baby out as the baby may not survive that long. The cesarean section was quite fast and our piglet clover was out within 15 to 20 mins......

Finally, after nine months of waiting, clover is finally out safe and sound......

Singapore vs Thailand

This is a long overdue post. Now then got time to blog about it. I went to the Singapore vs Thailand AFC Final at the National Stadium. I was there with Robin and my father. It is probably the last few times that we can be inside the stadium before it gets torn down in the middle of the year to make way for the New Kallang Sports Hub. Its quite odd that they tear down a 55,000 seat stadium and built another stadium of the same capacity! I think it would be better if they could at least increase the seating capacity by 5000 or 10000.

Anyway, back to the game. We reached the carpark at about 7.30pm so it was quite difficult trying to find a parking space as the tickets for the match were sold out. Finally managed to find a parking lot at about 7.45pm and managed to get a seat in the stadium before the match started. Below is the view that we got from our seat.

The match was full of drama from start to finish.....In the first half, the thais were falling down and rolling on the field with every slight tackle.Either they were "ah Kuas" or good actors loh.....Then in the second half, when the referee awarded a penalty to Singapore, the Thais protested the decision by leaving the field for a good 15 minutes.....

Below is the video of the celebrations after Singapore scored the penalty....

Long time no update blog

Have been a long time since I updated my blog.I have been busy with my videography business, doing up my new website and also doing video editing for my wedding videography job on 27th January. My website is finally up after much testing. You can check it out at http://www.ahcheeproductions.8f.com.

I have also finished the video editing for the couple on 27th January. I just left the printing of the dvd cover and labels. I researched on the internet to see how the movie dvds look like and come out with this design..

Does it look like a movie dvd cover? hehe.....Took about 2 to 3 days to do it...vey satisfied with the outcome....haha...super thick skin...:)

Now I am on standby mode for the arrival of my daughter, Clover Chee. Nancy is already 39 weeks liao so our baby is already full term and she already weights 3.4kg!!!That is quite heavy for a baby girl. She is Already a chubby baby even when she is in the womb liao......haha

We went to Jurong Point to take a walk around since we were bored staying at home and while shopping I came across this cute sign and decided to buy it and paste it on our Front door....

You might be asking me " Where's the dog?". Well, I don't have one.....haha...
