Finally finished my project demonstration yesterday!!!!Yeah.....now I can fully concentrate on my exams that are coming in about 2 weeks time........As for the demonstration, I prepared quite a lot of answers to the questions that my supervisior and 2nd examiner would ask me but they didn't ask me those!!! But I managed to answer most of the questions that they asked....so I guess it went fairly well for me!!! I was actually quite nervous 30 minutes before the demonstration cos I kept thinking what questions will they ask me......but its good that its finally over.....

Hmm....woke up at 8am today to go to my 9am lecture.......but then when I went to the lecture room, the lecturer gave us some notes and a tutorial sheet and told us that undergradutates can go now and masters student stay behind!!!!wah....make me walk all the way to school and brave the rain for nothing leh!!!!!hmm....these few days have been raining.....hai....thought the weather willl be getting better but then its getting worse....dun know when it will stop raining...

I went to see the Newcastle vs Chelsea match on sunday. Newcastle won 2-1 and it was a fantastic match with a fantastic atmostphere!!! I was seating near the Chelsea away fans section and althought there were only a small number of Chelsea fans compared to the newcastle fans, but sometimes they would be louder than the home fans!!!!The Chelsea and Newcastle fans were basically outsinging each other and there was quite a bit of tension around my area as they kept staring at each other and singing songs to "suan" each other.....hee......to the point that I think some of them were looking at the Chelsea fans more than on the pitch at times...The newcastle fans were singing songs like " Shame on Shearer, Always scoring", " Geordies Geordies Geordies", "There's only one Shay Given", etc......Of the three matches that I have seen at St James Park, this was the only one that I saw Newcastle winning the match so the atmosphere is so much different and they singing on the way out of the stadium......

Got the tickets for the Newcastle vs Chelsea match last thursday......went to St James Park at 6.00am to queue up for the tickets. St James Park is just behind my flat and is 4 minutes walk away. There were already about 100 people in front of me already although its only 6am.....THe first few people in the queue actually had sleeping bags and even tents!!! They must have been there before 1 am because I met a few of my hongkong friends and they said they were there at 2am!!!....well....didn't expect angmos to be so kiasu as well....hee.....or should that be called passionate?? cos you dun see people in singapore queuing overnight for soccer matche tickets!!!you can even buy them at the door!!!hee...

There's something wrong with my printer......it can't print colour properly!!!I guess its because I haven't printed colour and the print head is clogged or dirty.......so I had to clean the print head like 20 times because some colour started to come out....but it was still not ideal cos the colours tat were printed dun match the colours on the screen!!...like when I want blue, it prints pink, when I want green it prints out yellow!!!!!!had to make do with that for some of the pages and then for the rest I had to go to school to print and for colour prints it cost 35 pence each.........had to print 20 pages of colour so in the end I had to fork out £7 for printing which is to about 20 singapore dollars!!! Aiyah...but then what to do......

Today is the submission date for the Final Year Project Thesis and I just submitted my thesis to my school reception. Well, finally I don't have to keep typing my thesis anymore and now what is left is my project demonstration on wednesday afternoon......I will be giving a demonstration of my project to my supervisior and my second examiner.......will be more relaxed after that and can fully concentrate on studying for my exams in mid may...........

hmm...long time no update my blog liao........Well, its the last week of the holidays and the end of the long easter weekend for the angmos in uk.........it was basicallly a holiday from friday to monday for them......as they had good friday, easter sunday and easter monday........well it makes no difference for me as the public holidays are in my holidays anyway....hee........as most of the public holidays here are either in my christmas holidays or in my easter holidays so I seldom get a public holiday during school time.......I am basically finished my final year project thesis but I am still trying to improve on my disscussion and conclusion part of my thesis as it carries a lot of marks in this section.....Apart from that, I am basically done with it......

There will be a Premiership match between Newcastle United and Chelsea on 24th April 2004 and I will be going to queue up for the tickets tomorrow morning. I watch one preimership match at St James park every year and I have watched Liverpool and Manchester United come here liao so now it is time to watch Chelsea and I would have watched most of the top teams "live" liao.....hee......I think we would have to go early to queue for tickets and we are planning to go at ard 6.30am.....

Yesterday was the FA Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Arsenal and Manchester United won 1-0 !!!Yeah.....at least Arsenal will not win the treble this year!!!and hope that Chelsea will kick Arsenal out of the champions league in this tuesday's match...I dun think Man U have much chance in this year's premiership but at least there's the FA Cup to look forward to!!! Well....I have just finished watching "Luo Qiang Shi Jie Part II" last night. It is a hongkong drama series mainly about the life of two policewoman in the police force which i borrowed from my friend. It is a real refreshing change to watch a Chinese Drama serial after our fare of british tv...Wah, two weeks have passed liao and now there is only half of my holiday left liao.........I have almost finished my project liao so I guess now I should be half studying for my exams and half doing my project.....
