This week has been an interview week for me!!!!!I had a number of interviews lining up for me every day of the week from Monday to Thursday!!!so I basically work in my temp job for only half of the time! I didn't go on monday and went for half day on tuesday, wednesday and thursday. I have been to almost the whole island for my interviews....places like ang mo kio, loyang, tanjong pagar, tiong bahru, etc. I have been to companies like zeito plastics, CEI contract manufacturing, Fujitsu, etc, Its really funny that when I was at home waiting for interviews, no calls came.....but the moment I started work at this temp job....all the calls for interview came in......so its really "no come no come, one come all come!!" hee......well...its good cos with interviews there at least is hope......if not there is no hope....I just hope for the best lah!!!!!
I went to see the the esplanade with Karen, Steven and William to see Mama Mia on wednesday night. Before the play, we went to Thai Express to have our dinner. I ordered the tom yam noodles and karen also ordered the same one.....When the tom yam noodles arrived, we saw that the soup was quite clear and so we assumed that the soup was not very spicy.....but then just one sip of the tom yam soup proved otherwise!!!! William ordered the pineapple rice and steven ordered err......forget what is the name of the dish liao....only remembered its item number 3110...hee.....but it looks to be the most appetising dish of all with a lot of colour and ingredients......hee...
We proceeded to the Esplanade Concert Hall after our dinner in Thai Express. It was the second time I have been there. The first time that I went, i was sitting in the second row watching some opera dance during the singapore arts festival.....got the free ticket from eng chiaw lah......This time we are sitting in the circle 3 "restricted view" seats.......it was really a bit restricted as the lights were blocking a bit of the stage and we had to lean forward or backward to see.....but then overall it was still quite value for money lah.....The play was not too bad but I guess I was expecting to feel more for the play but well i feel its just a chance for them to sing an ABBA song at every instance of the play....but overall its a good experiance.......
